No, the Litter-Robot does not have a weight limit. However, your cat must weigh at least 5 pounds to trigger the cat sensor. Our definition of a small cat is 5-10 pounds; medium cat is 10-15 pounds; large cat is 15-20 pounds; and extra large cat is any cat that weighs more than 20 pounds.
Is Litter-Robot big enough?
Litter-Robot says cats up to 25 lbs can use the Litter-Robot. My cats are large breed Ragdoll cats and weigh around 14 lbs – they are long cats too. Sometimes the weight of a cat doesn’t tell the full story, so that’s why I say they are long. You can also see him waiting near the robot cat litter box to hear it cycle.
